The WDBA has launched a special project to help kids learn more about the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project, with information about the bridge, construction equipment, steps being taken to protect the environment, and more. The WDBA Kid Construction Zone includes information and activities designed to help kids learn more about the upcoming bridge, and provide teachers and parents with resources they can use to help their students find out about this project in a fun and easy-to-understand way.
NYNDESIGNS is proud to have helped the WDBA provide these resources to the public to help make sure that people of all ages can easily learn more about the Gordie Howe International Bridge project. To help with this effort, we created custom illustrations and web designs to give the Kid Construction Zone a colourful visual style, created downloadable versions of each of the activities to make it easier to print them out in a classroom or at home, and gave this section an easy-to-use layout to make sure that the information and activities could easily be found by website visitors of a wide range of ages. Like the rest of the WDBA website, the Kid Construction Zone is developed to be available in English and French, and to be accessible to users with visual impairments.
Moving forward, more activities, interactive pages, custom illustrations, and project information will be added to this section. As the web design and development provider for WDBA, we look forward to continuing to be a part of this special project.
